| This short block was basically built from scratch. It consists of a new 5.4 iron block and 5.4 forged steel truck crank from Ford. I also used rescently available Forged Steel H-beam connecting rods from Manley Performance. JE forged aluminum .010" over flattop pistons, along with 51cc heads, give a final compression ratio of 9.8:1. |
